Mini Sofa Talks | Episode 01: Leonard

Today, on the Mini Sofa Talks, we meet five year-old Leonard who is a future palaeontologist and seems to have rather strange views on cruelty and animal rights. If you find yourself not following his trail of thoughts, don’t worry. All is good with you. And with him too, but he is just a toddler.
Do you like just hanging out on the sofa with your friends? Talking, spending time?
L: Sure.
And what do you talk about?
L: Stuff. An old lady in the pan, that kind of stuff, you know.
But you mean as a dish?
L: What do you mean I mean as a dish?
I mean, well… You know, after all, I have a strange feeling I don't really need to know what you mean. Don't you talk about toys for example?
L: Neh. But if someone has exactly the same t-shirt we talk about this. It's funny, how sometimes you have the same dinosaur on a t-shirt, you know?
You plan to be a palaeontologist, is that still correct?
L: Yes.
And do you have a favourite dinosaur or something?
L: Mainly I am into carnivorous ones. And from the Cretaceous period.
Cretaceous you say?
L: Yeah. Tyrannosaurus and Utahraptor. My favourites. They fight and they bite, you know? And they look super dangerous. Except when they are on Paw Patrol, they don't.
Dinosaurs on Paw Patrol? Are you serious?
L: Yes, but it was all just a dream. Cause they are extinct.
Who is?
L: Dinosaurs, of course. The Paw Patrol is just a cartoon. It's like a dog police or dogs who help.
Do you think they are better than human police forces?
L: Sure. Normal police don't have a hook as Chase does. Or a ladder - Marshall has a long ladder. As high as a roof.
But do you wonder why Rider doesn't do everything instead of the doggies? It seems like tormenting the animals to me.
